The Club at Pasadera | Laurie & Deejay

Laurie and Deejay are the kind of couple who make joy look easy, and their wedding at The Club at Pasadera felt exactly like them! From the very first quiet moments of the morning, you could feel how much love was waiting to spill out. I am still smiling thinking about this whole day.

Laurie's lace gown was a dream, every detail of it, and watching her get ready was such a tender thing to witness. Her little flower girl never left her side, and those small in-between moments together were some of my favorites of the entire day.

Deejay got ready close by, buttoning into his navy suit with that soft blush bow tie, and the flower girl made sure to help him with it too! These are the moments I love most, the ones nobody plans, where everyone is just leaning on each other and laughing.

Then came the first look, and oh, my heart. The way they looked at each other, the way they could not stop grinning, it set the tone for everything that followed. They are so easy and warm together, and it shows in every single frame.

Their palette was rich and romantic, navy and dusty blue against blush and warm terracotta, with so much greenery and those gorgeous painterly bouquets full of garden roses. It all felt collected and timeless, exactly the kind of color that comes alive against the photos.

The Club at Pasadera is a stunner, a private Jack Nicklaus golf club in Monterey with Spanish-style architecture, manicured fairways, and those sweeping views out to the Santa Lucia Mountains. We wandered the courtyards and fountains with their sweet girl, and every corner gave us something beautiful.

The ceremony was set against a stone wall and wooden gate framed in florals, simple and so full of feeling. Their flower girl made her way down the aisle first, and then Laurie followed, glowing the whole way.

They laughed through their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed it with a kiss while their closest people cheered them on. An intimate ceremony like this one holds so much, and you could feel every bit of it. The recessional was pure happiness!

Cocktail hour spilled into a reception out on the fairway, and the details were so good, a cozy lounge area, seafood paella, and long tables dressed in blue-and-white patterns, candlelight, and overflowing florals as the sun dropped low.

Laurie and Deejay, thank you for letting me be part of such a warm, joyful day. The toasts, the golden light over the hills, the cake, that quiet champagne moment just the two of you, I will hold onto all of it. Congratulations, you two!
