The Barns at Cooper Molera | Lindsay & Max

Lindsay and Max kicked off their day with the prettiest palette of blush, lavender, and soft yellow, and it set the tone for everything that followed at The Barns at Cooper Molera. Every detail, from the hand lettered stationery to the ribbon wrapped bouquets, felt soft and romantic before we even got to the dress.

Lindsay got ready surrounded by her girls in matching pink robes, with champagne pouring early and laughter filling the whole room. There is nothing like watching a bride get laced into her gown while her mom and her closest friends look on, and this morning had all of it.

Across town, Max was just as easy going, cufflinks and suspenders and a room full of groomsmen keeping the mood light while everyone got dressed.

We stole Lindsay and Max away to the rocky Monterey coastline for their first look, and the reaction on both of their faces was everything. With the Pacific stretched out behind them, we gathered the wedding party right there on the bluffs, dusty pink gowns and black tuxes against all that blue water.

Then it was just the two of them for a few minutes, laughing and holding on to each other with the wind picking up and the coastal light doing exactly what we hoped it would.

The Barns at Cooper Molera is a historic barn venue in the heart of downtown Monterey, part of the Cooper Molera Adobe grounds, and it gave Lindsay and Max a ceremony spot that felt both grand and intimate all at once. They said their vows under a massive tree dressed in blush and white florals, with their families and friends gathered close around them.

Cocktail hour rolled right into a reception set with long farm tables, string lights, and centerpieces in every shade of pink and lavender.

Lindsay and Max made their entrance through the barn's big wooden doors with their hands in the air, and the toasts that followed had every emotion in the room, tears, laughter, and a whole lot of love for the two of them.

Their first dance ended in a dip under the chandeliers, and from there it was dance after dance, Lindsay with her dad, the whole barn glowing under string lights and swinging skirts.

Cake was cut, the dance floor filled up fast, and Lindsay and Max spent the rest of the night surrounded by everyone they love. Lindsay and Max, thank you for having me for this one. Your day was every bit as beautiful as the two of you.
