The Hollins House | Elisabeth & Ryan

Elisabeth and Ryan are just the sweetest, and you could feel it in every part of their day, from the tender getting-ready moments to a sunset that looked painted on. It was the kind of wedding where everything felt special, and everyone was clearly so happy to be celebrating these two.

They married at The Hollins House in Santa Cruz, a classic golden-era home built in 1931, perched on a bluff at the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The views here are unreal, sweeping panoramas of Monterey Bay and the Pacific, tree-studded fairways, and a gazebo with one of the most breathtaking ocean backdrops in Northern California. Inside, original hardwood floors, fireplaces, and crystal chandeliers give it a homey, timeless feel. It is awe-inspiring and intimate all at once.

The palette was bold and joyful, navy for the guys, deep emerald for the bridesmaids, and the most vibrant pink and coral florals popping against all that green. It was elegant with a beautiful jolt of color.

With their big, fun wedding party gathered around, Elisabeth and Ryan soaked up every moment, all smiles and easy laughter.

They said their vows in the gazebo with the ocean stretched out behind them, the flowers glowing, and every person they love close by. It was as cute and heartfelt as a ceremony gets, and then the sunset delivered.

As the light turned gold over the bay, the two of them stole away for portraits, completely radiant.

Then everyone celebrated, right down to the top hats on the dance floor. Elisabeth and Ryan, thank you for letting me capture a day this sweet, this colorful, and this full of love. The Hollins House gave you the view, but the two of you brought all the heart.
